These Terms govern your use of this website and your enrollment in The SME Standard’s programs. By using the site or enrolling, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
Programs are designed for professionals aged 18+. Cohort programs are application-based; we may decline or refund any application at our discretion to protect cohort quality.
Prices are stated in USD at checkout. Founding-cohort and early-bird discounts apply only during their stated windows. Flagship-cohort purchases may be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase or before completion of the first module, whichever comes first. Self-paced products are refundable within 14 days if less than 25% of content has been accessed. Community subscriptions may be cancelled anytime and end at the close of the billing period.
All curriculum, frameworks (including the GRADE Loop, Four Failure Families, and Self-Containment Test), exercises, rubrics, and site content are the property of The SME Standard. Individual enrollment grants a personal, non-transferable license for your own professional use. Organizational use, redistribution, resale, or use of the materials to build competing training requires a written commercial license — see Curriculum Licensing on the For Companies page.
Students agree not to share platform assessment content, misrepresent credentials, breach confidentiality obligations owed to third parties, or use our materials to violate any platform’s terms. Violation is grounds for removal without refund and revocation of any credential.
Educational outcomes vary; we guarantee no income, placement, or platform acceptance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
The Guild and cohort spaces require professional conduct. Harassment, spam, solicitation, or sharing of confidential third-party materials results in removal.
We may update these Terms with notice on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Governing law and venue to be specified upon entity formation — placeholder pending counsel review.
